Missy Vasquez Weiss – Quality Assurance, Improvement and Compliance Coordinator

Hi, I’m Missy Weiss, I coordinate Redwood’s Quality Assurance, Improvement and Compliance program. I have over 15 years of experience working in behavioral health and over a decade of experience in regulatory compliance, leadership, program development, operations management and quality improvement in addiction and behavioral health settings. I have extensive expertise in Joint Commission and State of California Department of Health Care Services standards, quality improvement, clinical auditing, and staff training. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, am CADC III certified, and am currently completing my Master of Social Work as a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society at Arizona State University.

At Redwood, I work with the Clinical Director to ensure that documentation meets regulatory standards, evidence-based practices are consistently applied, and operations remain aligned with Joint Commission and DHCS requirements. I also conduct improvement audits, compliance initiatives, and provide staff training to enhance operational efficiency and clinical excellence. I wholeheartedly believe that compliance in all aspects of behavioral healthcare is the cornerstone to great customer service and great clinical outcomes.
