Denyse Rehfeld

LMFT

Hi! I’m Denyse Rehfeld, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialize in treating adults with anxiety, trauma & PTSD, women’s issues, and depression.

My approach: Through my own personal experiences and my years of working with individuals, families, and children, I have found that many people just want to be seen and heard. They hold secrets, shame, and guilt but aren’t sure where to place it all.

I create a safe and inviting space for you to tell your stories, truths, and fears so we can identify the patterns that you have been enacting and bust through them, for good. I use cognitive-behavioral approaches to help you understand your anxiety and how to replace those worry-filled thoughts or break through your depression with positive, healthy routines.

I’ll help you navigate life’s challenges through solution-focused therapy. I am trained in EMDR which helps with processing past events to reduce trauma symptoms and build positive core beliefs.

My focus: I work best with older teens or young adults navigating transitioning into early adulthood, new moms dealing with anxiety/depressive symptoms, and older adults dealing with an empty nest and the anxiety that retirement can bring.

My clients who are willing to address symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and depression tend to feel more confident and empowered in their personal lives during and after treatment.
